Homeopathy
As defined by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), homeopathy is a system of complementary medicine in which highly diluted substances – most commonly administered in tablet or liquid form – are selected according to an individual’s specific symptom profile, with the aim of supporting the body’s inherent capacity for self-regulation.
Homeopathic practice adopts a holistic, patient-centred approach, considering physical symptoms alongside emotional and psychological factors. This reflects the principle that mental and physical health are interrelated, and that symptoms may represent an underlying functional imbalance rather than isolated pathology.
The clinical objective of homeopathy is to understand symptoms within the context of the individual as a whole. A comprehensive consultation typically includes a detailed medical history, assessment of current symptoms, and evaluation of overall wellbeing, enabling the selection of a remedy intended to support physiological balance and adaptive responses.

A central focus of my work is supporting individuals and organisations in the development and management of positive, measurable behavioural change, with the aim of improving psychological wellbeing, interpersonal functioning, and performance across professional and personal domains.
My practice incorporates evidence-informed approaches, including Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which are applied across a wide range of clinical, occupational, and life contexts. These methodologies are used to support sustainable change by addressing cognitive patterns, emotional responses, and behavioural strategies.
Over the past three decades, this integrative approach has formed the foundation of my professional practice. I have been involved in the development and application of these methods with individuals across the lifespan, supporting improved functioning, resilience, and long-term outcomes.

What is Facial Acupuncture?
Facial acupuncture is a therapeutic technique derived from traditional Chinese medicine that involves the insertion of fine, sterile needles into selected points on the face and body. This approach is intended to support skin health and facial appearance by promoting local circulation, supporting tissue tone, and encouraging physiological balance. Individual outcomes vary, and treatment plans are tailored following a clinical assessment.
At the initial consultation, a comprehensive medical history is obtained, including a review of relevant health conditions and any contributing factors. A clinical assessment is then undertaken to identify areas of facial concern and to establish individual treatment objectives.
Treatment involves the insertion of fine, sterile needles into selected facial acupuncture points and, where appropriate, into areas corresponding to specific lines or wrinkles. Additional body acupuncture points may be incorporated to support overall physiological balance and to enhance treatment outcomes. Needles are typically retained for approximately 20 minutes, during which the patient remains at rest.
Following needle removal, adjunctive traditional techniques may be applied to support local circulation and promote blood flow to the facial tissues.
A course of six treatment sessions is generally recommended. Some individuals report observable changes after one or two sessions; however, results are typically more pronounced and sustained following completion of the full course. Treatment response varies depending on individual skin condition, health status, and lifestyle factors. Maintenance sessions, commonly scheduled at monthly intervals, may help to support and prolong treatment outcomes.
